Four Johnson Development Communities In Houston Among Nation's Top-20 Best Sellers

HOUSTON, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Four Houston-area communities being developed by The Johnson Development Corp. rank among the nation's top-20 best-selling master-planned communities for 2013, according to a report by John Burns Real Estate Consulting, an independent research provider and consulting firm.

No other developer in the nation landed more than one community on the list.

Johnson Development's three master-planned communities in Fort Bend County, Riverstone (#6), Cross Creek Ranch (#13) and Sienna Plantation (#17) joined the Montgomery County master-planned community of Woodforest (#16) among the ranks of the nation's top-20 for new home sales in the 2013.

With 509 new home sales in 2013, the west Houston community of Cross Creek Ranch experienced a 69-percent increase in year-over-year new home sales, the second largest jump on the list.   

Riverstone generated 791 new home sales last year, a 31-percent hike from the previous year.  Woodforest accounted for 457 new home sales in 2013, a 48-percent increase; and Sienna Plantation reported 445 new home sales last year, a 15-percent increase from the year prior.
