The Frank Betz Associates Fight Against Homelessness Scholarship is worth $1,000 and open to anyone whose life has been affected by homelessness
KENNESAW, Ga., June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank Betz Associates, a designer of custom and stock home plans, has created the Fight Against Homelessness Scholarship. Their goal is to help anyone who has been personally affected by homelessness more easily afford attaining a post-secondary degree. The scholarship is worth $1,000.
According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, more than 500,000 Americans either sleep on the streets or in a shelter on any given night. While any number of circumstances may lead to homelessness, from financial difficulty to escaping abuse, the result is usually the same: facing the often impossible task of escaping living on the streets.

It is open to anyone who is currently homeless, has been homeless in the past or is at risk of being homeless. The scholarship is also open to those who have worked with the homeless in some demonstrable way.
