March 12, 2014, CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil /PRNewswire/ -- Fras-le S.A., listed on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (BM&FBovespa) under ticker symbols FRAS3 and FRAS4, a Randon group company that is Latin America's largest and one of the world's leading manufacturers of friction materials, announces its results for the year of 2013. Except where stated otherwise, the operating and financial information is presented on a consolidated basis and the amounts are expressed in Brazilian reais, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the accounting practices adopted in Brazil. Comparisons are with the year of 2012 and 2011 .

2013 RESULTS HIGHLIGHTS

Total gross revenue before consolidation: R$ 981.0 million, 8.2% higher on 2012 and 30.6% more than in 2011;

Consolidated net revenue: R$ 717.3 million, 8.2% higher on 2012 and 31.5% higher than in 2011;

Net revenue from the domestic market: R$ 398.1 million, 10.2% higher than 2012 and 34.6% up on 2011;

Net revenue from the export market: R$ 319.2 million, 5.8% higher on 2012 and 27.7% increase over 2011;

Fras-le Brazil Exports (FOB): US$ 93.6 million, 6.9% less than on 2012 and 18.9% under 2011; 

Sales in foreign markets (exports and units abroad): US$ 147.5 million, 5.3% less than 2012 and 2.4% under 2011;

EBITDA: R$ 104.5 million, 21.7% higher on 2012 and 62.9% more than in 2011;

Consolidated gross profit: R$ 195.2 million, 16.0% improvement over 2012 and 40.5% more than 2011;

Consolidated net income: R$ 40,1 million, 60,1% increase over 2012  and 9,4% less than in 2011.
