Fraud, Waste, Mismanagement and Public Corruption: Renowned New York Investigation Firm Embarks on Mission to Enhance Transparency and End Misuse of Taxpayer Funds
NEW YORK, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Kessler International is announcing the establishment of The Project for a Better Tomorrow ("The Project"), a 501(c) non-profit organization that will help expose the misuse of taxpayer funds and restore the public trust by demanding higher standards of ethics, accountability, and transparency from government officials.
"Our aim with The Project is to educate ordinary citizens and organizations alike and provide interested parties with effective tools and strategies empowering their fight against corruption," said Michael G. Kessler, founder and President of Kessler International. "The public demands and deserves transparency - especially when it comes to the wasting of tax dollars. Those who abuse the public trust must be held accountable for their actions."
For over two decades, Kessler International has been investigating elected officials, city councils, appointed representatives, educational institutions, school boards, and public authorities - unearthing startling evidence of cronyism, fraud, and bid rigging.
From Bell, California to Broward County, Florida, increased public awareness to issues of governmental malfeasance has resulted in the arrests of numerous public officials. The Project will leverage this opportunity by forming key strategic industry partnerships and using funding obtained via government grants and corporate charitable assistance to develop critical educational, technical, and training programs.
Kessler, heading up The Project, will be joined by Chaz Stevens, author of the upcoming book "My Politics Are Local" and investigative journalist for MyActsOfSedition.com; Dr. Rande Matteson, retired federal agent turned university professor and the author of the best-selling books "The Bully Behind the Badge" and "Bully Beware"; Susan M. Peterson, CFE, Cr.FA, of Kessler International, whose career spans two decades in economic crime detection; and other leading experts drawn from the fields of criminology, education, and forensic accounting.
