For the various sub-industries, for instance, the TV industry, the performance has been lower than expected. In the first half of 2010, the color TV market output growth slowed. Domestic sales showed big growth, but compared with second half of 2009, flat TVs demand growth is slowing. The market has entered a stable growth period. Even though the real estate and stock market slump, to a certain extent, restrained urban household consumption, the "home appliances to the countryside policy" for rural markets has continued to show good improvements.
In the second half of this year, refrigerators and air conditioners will enter their off-season. That, in combination with China's ever-present real estate market macro-control effects will continue to influence China's domestic home appliance market growth.
