BEIJING, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Frbiz.com one of China's leading B2B search platforms, reports that petrochemical products prices will increase.
Frbiz analyzes that from the current situation, some petrochemical product prices appeared to have a rising trend; compared with last year, crude oil only increased 2%, while in the downstream, more than 50% of petrochemical products prices increased, and more than 60% of products on the chemical market have increased.
Frbiz analyzes that most of the products have returned to or gone higher than pre-economic crisis prices. Frbiz is expects that some rubber product prices will remain strong.
Frbiz reports that there are 40 kinds of chemical products with increasing prices, increased from 18 kinds of products in July. The top three products are respectively are epichlorohydrin, bromide, and liquid chlorine. Epichlorohydrin rose from 12,700 RMB/ton up to 15,600 RMB/ton; unbalanced supply and demand is the main cause of the considerable price rise.
The declining products only amount to 13 down from 17 kinds of products. Products with prices dropping heavily are respectively, sodium aluminofluoride, fluorinated aluminum and heavy soda ash.
The soda market is actually slipping. Light soda dropped from 1,250 RMB/ton to 1,220 RMB/ton, heavy subcarbonate from early 1,300 RMB/ton to 1,250 RMB/ton. The backward production of soda is restrained, building downstream inventory pressure that is higher than demand. However, at present partial enterprise inventory pressure has eased. Frbiz predicts that in the short term, soda prices will smooth out with a slight rising trend.
Frbiz analyzes that, affected by supply and demand factors, the overall rubber market will improve. Frbiz believes that oil prices, the market demand and economic outlook uncertainty will restrict the rubber market from further rising. Considering that September is still the traditional rubber product demand peak season, the high demand is in effect but does not hide the small rising trend.
