Frbiz Report: China's Construction Machinery Industry Will Maintain Rapid Growth

In the first half of this year, the construction machinery industry maintained a rapid growth trend, but the performance of each product has not been balanced. Cranes and electric forklift trucks have shown steady growth. From January to May year on year, total output increased 21.5% and 10.5% respectively for these products. Concrete machines, however, have slowed down. From January to May, total output increased by only 4.6% year on year.

The state will continue to maintain real estate pressure control policy, while high-speed railway, port and other infrastructure projects will guarantee a certain constant demand for construction engineering equipment. At the same time, with the real estate regulation and control policies, concrete machinery sales will not see much improvement.

From a medium- and long-term stance, China's construction machinery industry still has considerable room for growth. China is in a stage of rapid urban development in which there will be a long period of time when the market demand for construction machinery will be high.

Multi-purpose, micro-mechanical products will maintain a larger market space. When the large-scale infrastructure construction period has passed, multi-purpose, miniature construction machinery products will become the mainstream. On the one hand, multi-purpose and standardized equipment can greatly develop equipment effectiveness; on the other hand, in order to maximize machine use in conjunction with human labor, adaptability to varying workspace environments is a necessity. For these reasons, smaller machines will have a broader market space in the future.
