March SUV sales were 104,000 in total, a growth rate of 47.83% year-on-year. It seems that consumers buying a car are placing more and more emphasis on space and off-road performance. The top three SUV models, in terms of sales, are the Honda CRV, the Hover H3 and the Toyota RAV4.

Number one: Honda CRV

February Honda CRV sales were only 5,900 units, while March saw an increase of 99.86%, with sales almost doubling. It appears that the new CRV appearing on the market in March attracted many new consumers' eyeballs.

In terms of maintenance, the CRV enjoys a two-year or 60,000 km vehicle warranty, offers the first tune-up for free, has a standard maintenance cycle of 5,000 km, and has few maintenance problems overall, with a typical repair job costing around 300 yuan. Its major maintenance cycle is 20,000 km, with the replacement of oil and three filters usually costing around 1,100 yuan.

Number two: Toyota RAV4

Toyota's recall case did not cause RAV4 sales to fall sharply, mainly because of its large distributor promotions. Sales stability of the RAV4 also came at the expense of profits. Recently, all Toyota RAV4 models offered up to 10,000 yuan cash back, with the lowest entry-level model selling for 179,800 yuan.

In terms of warranty and maintenance, the Toyota RAV4 enjoys two years or 50,000 km of vehicle warranty, which is a moderate length, with a regular maintenance cycle of 4000 km. Regular small maintenance (oil changes, machine filter) costs are 300-400 yuan, while large maintenance (oil changes, filters, air filter, gas filter) costs 600-700 yuan. The first oil filter maintenance is free.

Number three: Hover H3

As its own brand SUV, the Hover H3 has impressive quality and lower prices, which attract many consumers. Frbiz notes that the price of the Hover H3 has remained relatively stable. Currently models only carry basic car decorations, including seat covers, foot pads and so on. The current supply of Hover H3s is relatively abundant, with most being available in gray, black and white. To add metallic paint, an additional 2,000 yuan is charged when buying.

Factory maintenance is provided for the Great Wall Hover H3 models for free for two years or the 50,000 km. The car's basic maintenance cycle is about 5,000 km, and the first tune-up is free. General single replacements, such as oil and filters, or other small maintenance items are usually priced around 250 yuan, while oil changes and maintenance costs of the three filters is 500 yuan. For an SUV model, these maintenance prices are not high.
