Free Tows Home From Shamrock the Block, Thanks to Seibert's Toast'd Tow™ and Brown Distributing

RICHMOND, Va., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seibert's Towing's Toast'd Tow program will return on Saturday, March 16^th for Richmond's Shamrock the Block, this time partnering with Brown Distributing to help get St. Patrick's Day celebrators (and their cars) home safely. But for this holiday, Toast'd Tow will not only be present and taking reservations from 1 PM to 3PM, the towing service will actually be free to the first 30 customers, so long as the tow is within five miles of the event.

"Shamrock the Block is a huge, successful event for Richmond, but with it comes the potential for impaired driving accidents," says Randy Seibert, President of Seibert's Family of Companies. "We're thrilled to provide the Toast'd Tow service to Richmonders and are excited to be able to offer 30 free tows thanks to our partners at Brown Distributing."

Toast'd Tow was launched in December 2012 as an option for Richmonders attending holiday parties and festivals. The innovative service was a huge triumph in the Richmond area; Toast'd Tow garnered attention from a variety of Virginia media sources and successfully transported Richmonders and their vehicles home safely throughout December and into January. Now the program is back, and with over 25,000 people expected to flood Shockoe Bottom for Shamrock the Block, the Toast'd Tow program is anticipated to be a hit among festival goers.

"When we first heard about Toast'd Tow last December, we were extremely impressed with the novelty of the service," says JR Walthour, Special Events Manager at Brown Distributing. "We're excited to have the opportunity to partner with Seibert's Towing and provide free tows home for Shamrock the Block."

Toast'd Tow will pick up any driver at Shamrock the Block and deliver them and their car home safely within Richmond city limits for just $50. Delivery of drivers and vehicles outside the city limits incurs an additional $1.50 per mile charge. The first 30 tows on March 16^th are free within a five-mile radius and then a $1.50 per mile charge applies.
