Freightquote.com Announces the Addition of Four Independent Directors to the Board of Directors

LENEXA, Kan., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Freightquote.com is expanding its board of directors to include five additional independent directors. Four of those spots have recently been filled with respected area professionals who have a range of experience that will help position Freightquote.com for continued growth in the future.

• Neeli Bendapudi is the Dean of the University of Kansas School of Business. She previously served as a professor of marketing at The Ohio State University and as executive vice president of Huntington National Bank. She has consulted for dozens of the world's largest companies and has experience on public and private boards. Bendapudi holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Andhra University in India.
• Gary Forsee served as CEO of Sprint Nextel from 2003 to 2007 and President of the University of Missouri System from 2008 to 2011. Forsee has extensive experience as a board member on both public and private companies.
• George Hansen recently served as CEO of Zave Networks preceding its sale to Google. Prior to Zave Networks, Hansen served as CEO of CLC Services and Carstar. Hansen has more than 30 years' experience with corporate transactions in both the public and private markets.
• Jim Schwartz is the President, CEO and Chairman of NPC International, the world's largest Pizza Hut franchise operation with more than $1 billion in revenue. Schwartz previously worked at Ernst & Young and is an experienced leader in both private and public companies.
