French Toast, Official School Wear, Projects An Increase In Students Wearing Uniforms For Back-To-School 2013
A Strong School Uniform Trend Leads to a Steady Increase for the Brand
NEW YORK, Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The start of the 2013/2014 school year is quickly approaching. Now through September, more parents than last year are adding school uniforms as a must have for back-to-school.
French Toast, the leading school uniform brand in the country, has just released its latest projections. With approximately 100,000 new students wearing uniforms for the first time, the brand is expecting a 10% increase in sales.
Kevin Mitchael, Senior Vice President of LT Apparel Group, shared the data. "Nearly one in four public school students attend a school with a uniform dress code. There are over 100 public school districts, representing 650,000 students, considering or implementing a school uniform policy. That is a 25% increase over 2012." For the first time in over five years, the Mid-Atlantic States lead the way in new school uniform adoptions. The Mid-Atlantic region accounts for 40% of new school uniform growth in 2013, and the South comes in second, accounting for close to 25% of the new uniform growth this year.
French Toast, an industry leader for over fifty years, offers both boy school uniforms and girl school uniforms from size 2T-20. Prices start as low as $7.98 on FrenchToast.com.
