Napa Winery Reveals New 108' Wall of Original Graffiti Art by Celebrated Modern Urban Muralists

NAPA, Calif., Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Saturday August 13 from 12:00noon - 3:00pm, Jamieson Ranch Vineyards hosts FRESH COAT, to unveil a new urban art mural on the southern wall of the winery located on Jameson Canyon Road in Napa. Contributing artists include popular SF Bay Area urban muralists Ricky Watts, Meagan Spendlove, "Griffin One" and Chris Jehly; self-taught Los Angeles artists "Duce" and "Haste" and ubiquitous graffiti specialist "Quake," who is bringing his style from New York City. In addition, one very special panel of the mural will be designed by art therapy students from the A.D.A.P.T. program of Aldea Children and Family Services of Napa.

Bill Leigon, CEO of Jamieson Ranch Vineyards says, "The FRESH COAT event is our way of supporting two of our favorite causes. My wife and I believe that public art is beneficial to the community. Utilizing the south wall of the winery for this ever-changing mural adds beauty and excitement to our valley. We also believe that, as members of the Napa community, we need to support our schools and individuals in need."

Aldea of Napa will host a Silent Auction of original works by the above artists, Napa wines, gift certificates and other exclusive treasures. Attendees will also enjoy the "Light Horse Foundation" miniature therapy horses; Sweet Jane, Molly and Winnie-the-Pooh. These small rescue horses have had a significant impact in local schools, hospitals and for persons with special needs.

$35 ticket price includes: Unveiling of the new Art Wall Mural, Meet & Greet with the Artists, visit the "Light Horse" mini horses, hors d'oeuvres by House Chef Scot Ekstrom and a glass of Jamieson Ranch "Silver Spur" our 90 point Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. A complimentary wine glass is included and, if you wish, you may purchase from a selection of our award winning wines. Music will be provided by "Sanho-The-Indian" and "DJ Ellie Electro".
