FriendFinder Networks Releases New Web-Based Social Media Game

(NasdaqGM: FFN) today announced that its newest web game, Clans of NeoEarth, is live and available on Facebook in beta version and will officially launch by month's end.  Clans of NeoEarth is an action-packed combat simulation and city builder game already gaining popularity with gamers having more than 4,000 "likes" and 6,000 active players on its Facebook fan page. 

Clans of NeoEarth is set in a world where ancient dinosaurs evolved and coexist alongside humans.  Sixty-five million years ago in the game world of NeoEarth, a comet caused mass extinction to its resident dinosaurs.  However, it did not kill all the dinosaurs…some survived.  Overtime, the dinosaurs who survived known as the "DinoKin" evolved intellect and social structure.  After eons in hiding, they emerged and discovered a healed world with new creatures populating the land of NeoEarth, known as "Mankind."  To the DinoKin, this creature had an unacceptable appetite for destruction and over-consumption.  The DinoKin view the land of NeoEarth as their birthright and are now waging war on their mortal enemy, Mankind.

Players assume the role of a "clan leader," commanding a tribe of humans and work towards the goal of growing their clan by participating in hundreds of quests, advanced strategic player vs. player encounters and solo battles against the dinosaur foes.  Monsters also randomly infiltrate the players land providing extra challenges and rewards as the clans grow in power and influence.  Truly a social game, players team up with their friends to accelerate questing, launch coordinated attacks on enemy players, or to help their friends advance in the game.
