The Sponsor Me Hawaii Ala Moana Bowls contest has lived up to its big expectations. Sponsor Me and Ubiquity Broadcasting Corporation have perfected the world's first live action sports IP backhaul HD broadcast in Hawaii, broadcasted live in HD simultaneously to all three media screens (Television, Internet, Mobile Devices).

In a live interview with co-founder Chris Carmichael during the live broadcast, he showcased the world's first IP backhaul streaming live on both the iPad and iPhone simultaneously. Jason Shibata won the 2010 Sponsor Me Hawaii Ala Moana Bowls 2-Star Qualifying Series Tuesday, June 22, 2010. In the final round of 4 he had to beat out pro-surfer's Kai Barger, Pancho Sullivan, and Casey Brown  "It's a blessing to win at home," said Shibata who won the event with a two-wave total of 17.5 out of a possible 20 points.

The 2010 Sponsor Me Ala Moana Bowls Event drew big name pro surfers such as Sponsor Me's own Makua Rothman, Sunny Garcia, Jamie O' Brien, Roy Powers, Pancho Sullivan, and two-time defending Bowls champ Flynn Novak among others. Along with such established pro-surfers, amateurs were given the chance to compete in a 2-Star Pro-Am Surf Contest with a $25,000 purse and the chance to Qualify for the $1 Million Vans Triple Crown of Surfing Series.
