Frost & Sullivan Announces Award Categories for 2013 Malaysia Excellence Awards
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Frost & Sullivan is pleased to announce the award categories for the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards, which will be presented at a dinner gala held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 7.30pm at the Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
"The Malaysia Excellence Awards play an important role in providing deserved recognition to those who are driving innovation and achieving best practices across various industries in the Malaysian market. The objective of this awards program is to spur these industries forward by highlighting leading companies and individuals who inspire and influence the industry's performance," said Hazmi Yusof, Country Head, Frost & Sullivan Malaysia.
Now in its ninth consecutive year, the 2013 Malaysia Excellence Awards aims to recognize Malaysian companies for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices.
The findings of the detailed evaluation are then presented to a panel of independent judges comprising influential personalities and leaders in Malaysia, to decide the recipient for each category.

Hj Aisharuddin bin Nuruddin, Head of Infrastructure Development and Standards Division, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
Expert judges for the ICT Vendor category include Lau Bik Soon, Group Chief Executive Officer, REDtone; Too Tian Jen, Chief Technology Officer, Network Division, U Mobile; Vino Nair, Editor, Business Today; Abdul Satar Mohamed, Chief Network Officer, Celcom Axiata Berhad; and Asmawati Yusof, Vice President Network Development, Telekom Malaysia Berhad.
