Frost & Sullivan Honors the 2012 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award Recipients and Announces the Opening of ML100 Global Nominations for 2013

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Frost & Sullivan announced joining forces with Manufacturing Executive to recognize best in class manufacturers around the world.   The 2012 Manufacturing Leadership (ML) 100 program recipients are recognized for their best practices achievements in quality, operational excellence, customer value enhancement, as well as other categories.

The Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards honor companies and individuals that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. Award nominees and their technology partners describe their breakthrough projects using a nomination form. A panel of expert judges select the Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award recipients, who will be honored at the 2013 Manufacturing Leadership Summit on May 15 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. Also today, Frost & Sullivan announced the start of the 2013 search for the world's best manufacturing companies. Manufacturers, vendors, consultants, and their customers are encouraged to demonstrate their world class, breakthrough processes and projects by submitting nominations for the 2013 ML100 Awards. Three of the 2012 ML100 Award recipients were singled out for special honors. Nalco Co., a recipient in the Sustainability category, was selected by the judging panel as the ML100 Manufacturer of the Year among large companies with revenues above $1 billion. Chirch Global Manufacturing was selected as the ML100 Manufacturer of the Year among small/medium size manufacturers with revenues under $1 billion. And Sir James Dyson, founder of Dyson Co. and creator of the Dyson Foundation, was named the recipient of the 2012 Visionary Leadership Award.
