FST21 Named Winner at 2013 ASIS Security Industry Awards Competition
Biometric Recognition Technology Platform Recognized as One of Security Industry's Most Innovative New Products by ASIS International
NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FST21, a leading technology company that uses a fusion of biometric and analytic technologies for security platforms, has been recognized for industry innovation by professional security organization, ASIS International. FST21 will be officially accepting the award, highlighting the company's Digital Doorman product, on September 24 at this year's ASIS International 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Chicago, IL.
The Digital Doorman is an all-in-one security solutions kit touting FST21's SafeRise In Motion Identification software, completely revolutionizing the way people enter their homes or offices by pairing unparalleled efficiency with utmost convenience. The kit effectively removes the need for keycards and codes, and can be controlled locally or remotely through the owner's cellular device, allowing for the capability to register and "enroll" individuals within the Digital Doorman's database, or simply sending a mobile QR code to incoming visitors to display to the installed camera upon arrival.
"We couldn't be more excited by ASIS International's acknowledgment for our company's achievement in security innovation," says Major-General Aharon Zeevi Farkash, Founder and CEO, FST21. "Accepting this award is a great honor that positively reinforces the progress we've made in the security field thus far and is sure to motivate us to keep rolling out products that will push our industry to the cutting edge of technologies in an effort to always promote security with convenience."
Founded by Major-General Aharon Zeevi Farkash, former head of the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate from 2002 – 2006, FST21's technology fuses biometric, as well as analytic technologies, known as In Motion Identification, to create a multi-pronged approach. Active facial analysis, coupled with behavioral, and voice recognition allows FST21's technology to easily dissect an individual's movements and actions and designate their very identity as the key to entry to any premises where the technology is installed. This eliminates the need for key cards or any items that can essentially be stolen and replicated by intruders.
The company has already implemented its technology within various locations in the NYC area, particularly the famous Knickerbocker Building. FST21 is compatible and can be installed with Axis communications cameras, SurvTech, OnSSi and HTS Vehicle Recognition Systems.
