FTI Consulting Appoints Marvin Rust as Head of the European Tax Services Practice

LONDON, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced the appointment of Marvin Rust as Senior Managing Director and Head of the European Tax Services practice within the firm's Corporate Finance/Restructuring segment. Mr. Rust will be based in London.

Mr. Rust brings more than 15 years of transactional, refinancing and restructuring experience to the firm and has worked for corporates, private equity and high net worth individuals across a diverse range of industries including hospitality and leisure, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and consumer products. In addition, Mr. Rust has experience in all aspects of transfer pricing, ranging from tax authority audits to comprehensive transfer-pricing studies. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Rust was a Partner at Deloitte where he was the leading Partner for Deloitte's Tax Services to the Travel, Tourism and Leisure Sector across the UK and globally. Previously, he was a member of Deloitte's Global Transfer Pricing Practice, prior to which he jointly led the Andersen UK transfer pricing practice.

Mr. Rust holds a degree in accounting from the University of Hull. Additionally, he is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
