FTI Consulting Strengthens its Operational Transformation Practice with the Appointments of Dr. Christian Axmann and Andreas Rapp

(NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced the appointments of Dr. Christian Axmann and Andreas Rapp as Managing Directors in its Operational Transformation practice within the company's Corporate Finance/Restructuring segment. Dr. Axmann and Mr. Rapp will be based in Germany.

Dr. Christian Axmann and Andreas Rapp are both senior experts in the areas of operations, manufacturing, planning and supply chain management. They bring deep industry expertise in industrial goods, automotive, manufacturing, renewables and technology and have led several successful turnaround and efficiency improvement projects as consultants, line managers and interim managers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Dr. Axmann and Mr. Rapp both join FTI Consulting from AlixPartners where they were previously Senior Directors and members of the German management team. Prior to AlixPartners, Dr. Axmann held leadership positions at Durst Phototechnik AG and the Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Rapp at BMW Group and Capgemini Consulting.

FTI Consulting's Operational Transformation practice in EMEA is led by Dr. Andreas von Keitz. The Operational Transformation team identifies robust and reliable operational upsides in e.g. manufacturing, supply-chain and working-capital-management and accelerates the delivery of performance improvement targets. In their new roles at FTI Consulting, Dr. Axmann and Mr. Rapp will focus on meeting the rising demand from clients to promote value creation through identifying performance improvement opportunities to enhance profitability during implementation.
