Fueling The Next Generation: Black Girl Vitamins Launches Back-To-School Campaign Funding STEM Classrooms

$10,000 fund aims to support middle and high school science projects in Chicago and Washington DC

CHICAGO, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Black Girl Vitamins (BGV) is marking Back-to-School season by committing $10,000 to STEM-focused resources for middle and high school science classrooms in underserved communities. A portion of sales from September 6-12 will fund essential supplies and hands-on learning tools for students.

On average, teachers spend $895 on classroom supplies to support students' success; BGV is committed to funding selected schools to help mitigate some of the cost and focus efforts on future doctors of the next generation. The selected schools include Daniel H. Williams Preparatory School of Medicine and Corliss Early College STEM High School in Chicago, and Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science in Washington D.C. 

One Chicago school project will explore diabetes, giving students an opportunity to connect classroom learning to a health issue that disproportionately affects Black communities nationwide.
