FUJITSU TEN to Co-host 'ECLIPSE Master Class' with Columbia College Chicago for 2nd Time

KOBE, Japan, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- FUJITSU TEN LIMITED and Columbia College Chicago are co-hosting the "ECLIPSE Master Class" at the College's Conaway Center on Friday, October 29, 2010. This event will feature a performance by award-winning jazz vocalist/pianist Peter Eldridge. The admission to this event is free of charge.

The "ECLIPSE Master Class" is an innovative style of event produced through cooperation between students, universities, "Masters" and FUJITSU TEN. We hope that the students will take this opportunity to experience "sound and music" as well as use their experience in producing this event with FUJITSU TEN as a lesson for future growth throughout their lives and career. ECLIPSE "TD712z Mk2," our flagship speaker model, will aid the faithful reproduction of the original sounds of the performance.

Since 2008 we have held the ECLIPSE Master Class series in association with academic institutions such as Osaka University (which is one of the leading national universities in Japan), with Berklee College of Music and with Columbia College Chicago, both in the United States.

In addition this event has so far involved different artists as the "Master" such as a virtuoso cellist, a player of shamisen (Japanese traditional string instrument), world-renowned recording engineers and music producers. So the students can take the opportunity to experience various aspects of music and event production.
