This is important since dirty V-grooves are a source of error, and is the number one reason a splicer is sent in for repair. The NINJA's detachable grooves enable the technician to keep the splicer cleaner and in operation longer between scheduled maintenance visits. - Fusion splice-on connector compatible - With fusion splice-on connectors gaining acceptance as a way to field terminate cables, the NINJA compatible with fusion splice-on field installable connectors from a wide variety of manufacturers.
- Large battery capacity to keep field technicians going - While the NJ001 design is compact and low profile, its large battery capacity allows 100 splicing and heating cycles in one charge.
- Removable heater bracket allows the heater to perform ST & FC field installable connectors, thus eliminating the need for an external heater.
