Game Developer Announces New Real-Time Strategy (RTS) Video Game

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gamers are always looking for the next new video game. Game developer Yale Winter announces "SKY is ARROWS," a new fantasy real-time strategy (RTS) video game.

"Currently there is a real void in the game industry, there should be new real-time strategy video games for people to enjoy," said Winter.

Some of the best known real-time strategy video games are StarCraft, Age of Empires, and Command and Conquer.

On his video on Kickstarter, Winter shows clips of SKY is ARROWS and his previous game Medieval Solutions. The video is funny and interesting. Backers can pre-order the game and participate in the game development process for a pledge of $15.

"Real-time strategy games are great because they challenge you to think on your feet with army composition, tech, and economy. They also encourage you to respond to your opponent's tactics. They don't rely on the 'twitch' associated with first person shooter games, and instead reward you for thinking strategically over the whole match," said Winter.

"SKY is ARROWS will have real-time strategy fans feeling at home, while providing some new functionality and flare. Seeing all the new units and mythological creatures and how they fit together will be a worthwhile experience," said Winter.

Yale is seeking $18,000 to make SKY is ARROWS. The deadline to raise the funds is Thursday, November 8. The clock is ticking!

The creator of SKY is ARROWS, Winter is a game developer with 10 years of experience in programming, art and design. His vision is to create a fantasy medieval real-time strategy game, a gamer's game that lets players make tactical decisions to defeat another empire.
