BOULDER, Colo., April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ganesh Capital LLC announced today the launch of its venture capital business, and is actively seeking qualified start-ups for angel investments of between $50,000 and $5,000,000.

Prior to co-founding Ganesh Capital, Marc Nemer was the CEO of a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) company, which he took public in 2013 and then subsequently merged in 2014, creating the largest company of its kind in the United States at approximately $22 billion in assets.  Marc understands what it takes to successfully scale and grow a business, having played a leading role in building this company over an eight-year period from a small, privately-held business with under a billion dollars in assets and 60 employees into a leading national, NYSE public company with over $15 billion in assets across 50 states, a $7 billion market capitalization, and over 400 employees.  Marc began his career as a business attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings, including IPOs.  He has a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from the University of Michigan.

Emily Nemer held various finance and wealth management positions with a Fortune-200 company.  In addition to her big-company experience, Emily has first-hand experience with start-ups, having worked for a start-up business specializing in digital marketing, and also launching a business of her own.  Emily is a trained yoga instructor, and believes in bringing many of those principals and values into business.  She has an MBA in General Management and MA in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and BS in Business Administration from Northwestern College.
