Garfield Traub Announces Organizational Changes to Benefit Business Growth
DALLAS, Feb. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Garfield Traub Development LLC, a Dallas-based real estate company with offices in Dallas, Texas; Henderson, Nevada; and Park City, Utah, is pleased to announce that Eric A. "Tony" Traub, Garfield Traub Principal, will lead the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Traub is an attorney and a C.P.A. with over 30 years of development experience. Daniel Hennessy will continue as general counsel and will serve as the Chief Administrative Officer.
Traub said that he's looking forward to continued growth of the company and its affiliates. Traub is co-founder of Garfield Traub Development and has led the development activities directing the design, construction, programming, strategic agreements and support for the financing and equity arrangements of the Company. Mr. Traub's experience has included performing arts centers, headquarters hotels, courthouses, schools, garages, Rincon Center an award winning 1,000,000 square foot downtown mixed-use high rise project in San Francisco, along with such resorts as The Resort at Squaw Creek and various hotel projects for Hyatt, Marriott and Sheraton Hotels. Most notably in recent years, the company led the development of the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, North Carolina, which is rated as one of the top theaters in the nation.
Prior to joining Garfield Traub, Dan Hennessy was a long time partner and co-founder of the prominent Dallas based law firm of Hughes & Luce. He has been both General Counsel and a major strategist for the Company. He has extensive experience in real estate transactions and financing, including public and municipal transactions that are at the core of our Company.
In 2009 Garfield Traub, in partnership with Steve Swisher, formed Garfield Traub Swisher Development, LLC. Steve is an accomplished architect and has designed award winning projects for public and private entities throughout the southwest when he practiced with one of the largest architectural firms in Las Vegas, which he founded. Garfield Traub Swisher is developing the Utah Performing Arts Center, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
