Gaston L. Bernstein Named President and CEO of Physicians Rx Pharmacy
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Rx Pharmacy ("PRxP") today announced that Gaston L. Bernstein has joined the organization as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Bernstein, who most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Soleo Health Specialty Infusion Services, will, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Physicians Rx Pharmacy, be responsible for leading the rapidly-growing 340B pharmacy services company.

Mr. Bernstein became CEO of Soleo Health in July 2013 and led Soleo to become an industry leader in specialty infusion. In this role he reorganized and revitalized the company with significant progress made on the business priorities and objectives, including improvements made in sales performance, revenue management, ancillary services, patient census, and customer service. Since his departure from Soleo, Mr. Bernstein has provided expertise through consulting and advisory services to several private equity firms in pharmacy services.
Mr. Bernstein has over 27 years of relevant experience in senior leadership positions in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Soleo Health, Mr. Bernstein served as Vice President at Coram LLC, leading various divisions including managed care, CoramRx specialty pharmacy and industry relations. Additionally, he was the Vice President of managed care for ivpcare specialty pharmacy. Mr. Bernstein also held leadership roles with various pharmacy benefit management companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
A graduate of the University of California at Irvine with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Mr. Bernstein also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Southern California.
