GCR Inc. Launches AirportIQ Business Manager (ABM) at the County of Riverside (California) Economic Development Agency-Aviation Division

NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In December 2014, the County of Riverside (California) Economic Development Agency-Aviation Division went live with GCR Inc.'s industry leading AirportIQ Business Manager (ABM) Software.

GCR Inc. (GCR) was tasked to work with Riverside County to deploy, configure and train staff in AirportIQ Business Manager for administration of the five General Aviation (GA) airports under the auspices of the County EDA.  This implementation is unique as it is not for a single commercial airport, but a centralized application for five GA airports with different aviation profiles.

GCR fast-tracked the project in three months to analyze business operations, configure the system in accordance with County requirements, and go live before the end of 2014.  Thorough analysis of the business requirements and technical aspects of the IT infrastructure were required to bring the five airports together on a common platform. 

The new operational benefits of the AirportIQ Business Manager solution include better organization of data, improved ability to share information, and greater efficiency in administrative processes.  Additional benefits will come from streamlined tenant billing and accounts receivable systems, lease agreement management for the disparate locations and facilities, and more effective reporting. 

A County of Riverside Economic Development Agency member observed, "The system will have a very positive effect on the ability of the staff to manage the numerous leases at the five airports operated by the Aviation Division. Being able to automatically adjust rates that are subject to CPI increases will assure that the rate changes will be put into effect at the appropriate time and for the correct amount."
