GDF SUEZ Launches Think Energy™ to Serve Small Business Customers

HOUSTON, Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, one of the largest competitive retail electricity providers in the country, announced today that it will begin offering electricity service to small commercial customers.  The new GDF SUEZ business established to serve these customers will begin selling retail electricity this month as Think Energy™.

The initial markets served will be Maryland and Massachusetts. A state-by-state rollout into other markets open to retail competition will follow beginning in the first quarter of 2012. The new venture significantly expands the potential customer footprint of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources, which has traditionally served only larger commercial and industrial customers, including about half of the Fortune 100.

Think Energy will also be launching a new website, www.mythinkenergy.com, which will soon feature dynamic, real-time pricing in an easy-to-use process that allows customers to sign up online.
