PARAMUS, N.J., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) presented its week-long program, "Leading the Way in U.S.-Africa Investment" July 30-August 8, 2014. This series of events took place during the U.S. Government's U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, which aimed to strengthen ties with one of the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing regions, as well as to highlight America's commitment to Africa's security, its democratic development and its people.

With approximately 45 Heads of State and more than 100 Ministers in attendance, the week proved to be the strongest showing of African leadership in the U.S. at one time. CCA brought its members and others together with these leaders for a series of dialogues and targeted meetings, including a Business Forum, an African Ministerial Networking Reception and more than 10 special luncheons and dinners honoring African Heads of State.

The week-long series of events presented a rare opportunity to hear from multiple African leaders, meet and network with U.S. and African private sector and government decision makers, and further advance the attendees' business interests throughout the continent.
