GenArts Showcases New Sapphire v6 at NAB Show 2012

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GenArts® Inc., the global leader in specialized visual effects software for the media and advertising industries, announced today that it will showcase its latest software innovations at the 2012 NAB Show, held in Las Vegas at the Convention Center April 16-19. GenArts will show a number of products including recently released Sapphire v6 and Monsters GT v7. Chris Wirth of Universal Images and Jeroen (J) Schulte of Industrial Light & Magic will be on hand to demonstrate how GenArts software is used to create some of the incredible effects that grace nearly 80 percent of shots in TV and film today.

At the booth, GenArts Chief Scientist Gary Oberbrunner and Sapphire Product Manager Alan Lorence will be available to show off the latest innovations in Sapphire version 6, including the customizable lens flare editor and the intuitive visual preset browser. Designed to optimize productivity, Sapphire v6 enables visual effects artists customize their work quickly to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Chris Wirth, Executive Creative Director at Universal Images, will show off a spot he recently created for Bosch, Light 'Em Up. Mark Chesak, Editor and Avid Certified Instructor, will also be showing a project created for ESPN highlighting the Ironman Lake Placid competition.
