GenAudio Appoints Michel Henein as Manager of Business Development for Interactive Media

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GenAudio Inc., developer of AstoundSound® 3D spatial audio software, today announced the appointment of Michel Henein as Manager of Business Development for Interactive Media. In this role, Henein will play a central role in GenAudio's expansion strategy within video gaming sector.  

Henein, an expert in game audio technology, has more than 15 years of experience in both film and video game audio engineering. His responsibilities in business development will commence during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco from February 28 to March 4, 2011 where he will be hosting a demonstration suite at the W Hotel.

Henein joins GenAudio from Diesel Games, a company he co-founded in 2006. At Diesel Games, he entered into a partnership with GenAudio to build a video game demo showcasing GenAudio's unique 3D spatial audio processing technology, AstoundSound®, in real-time during gameplay.

Prior to founding Diesel Games, Henein worked as a lead sound designer on three AAA titles from THQ Inc. – Pixar's "Cars," "MX Unleashed" and "MX vs. ATV Unleashed." He also led efforts to build a world-class sound studio at THQ's Rainbow Studios in Phoenix. Earlier in his career, Henein worked for Media Ventures, Inc. as a film music editor.
