General Barry McCaffrey to Testify Before House Ways and Means Committee on Free Trade Agreements
WASHINGTON, March 16, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- General Barry R. McCaffrey, USA (Ret.), former Director, Office of National Drug Control Policy, will testify on the pending free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea, before the House Trade Subcommittee of the Committee on Ways and Means on Thursday, 17 March 2011, at 10:00am.
General McCaffrey supports the passage of all three of these FTA agreements, stating that their passage will "likely increase [US] exports by $13 billion and create 250,000 jobs to help offset our disastrous US unemployment rate."
