'Generation Iron' is the #1 Documentary for 3 Weeks Straight at the US Box Office

NEW YORK, Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Vladar Company has announced today that its bodybuilding docudrama GENERATION IRON plans to expand into an additional 50 screens this Friday, October 11th, 2013. This news follows an impressive $540,750 cumulative gross in the US box office, after its September 20th release.  For the 3rd week straight, Generation Iron was able to maintain it's position as the highest grossing documentary (non-concert).

Written and directed by Vlad Yudin, GENERATION IRON follows the world's leading bodybuilders as they train and compete for the coveted Mr. Olympia title.  The film gives front row access to the lives of the top 7 bodybuilders in the sport, including Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Branch Warren and Dennis Wolf. Mickey Rourke narrates the film, with appearances by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno and Jay Cutler.  The film has been well-received by top critics such as LA Times, Washington Post the Village Voice and continues to have high user ratings among viewers.
