Generational Capital Markets Wins M&A Advisor Award

DALLAS, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Generational Capital Markets, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC (GCM) was awarded a prestigious 2013 M&A Award from The M&A Advisor for its sale of Water Products, Inc. to HD Supply, Inc. This was the 12th annual M&A Advisor Awards ceremony and this transaction was recognized as the "Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution Deal of the Year up to $100 million."

An independent judging committee of 23 top M&A industry experts determined the ultimate recipients of the awards which were revealed "Academy-Award style" at the gala.

Accepting the award for GCM at the gala held at the New York Athletic Club was Brenen Hofstadter and Chris Heckert, who represented Water Products.  Mr. Hofstadter said "This award has become the gold standard of excellence in our industry and this is the most competitive field I have seen - we are very pleased to have won".  Mr. Hofstadter is president of GCM, holds an MBA, CM&AA, securities licenses, and is a member of AM&AA and Mensa.  Mr. Heckert is VP and supervising principal.  This is the second M&A Advisor award for the Hofstadter/Heckert deal team.  GCM is the broker/dealer affiliate of Generational Equity, LLC, Dallas, TX.
