DALLAS, June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Safety Schell Corporation (dba Special Products Group) (SPG), located in Boynton Beach, Florida, by Red The Uniform Tailor Inc. (RTUT), headquartered in Lakewood, NJ. The acquisition closed on May 12, 2015.
SPG is a head-to-toe supplier of armor, uniforms, gear and related items to public safety officers through a fully functional ecommerce website and retail outlets. SPG offers products ranging from tactical and protective gear to holsters, handcuffs and uniforms. SPG also provides full uniform customization through embroider and alteration services.
Managing Director Don Sawyer, Vice President Rebecca Gruman, and Affiliate Mike LoConte, led the Generational Equity deal team that advised SPG on the transaction.
