GeoDex Announces Issuance of US Patent for Search Engine Results Interface With Relevance Annotations
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GeoDex LLC, a North Carolina based technology company, announced today the issuance to it by the US Patent Office of patent number 8,135,735 that covers relevance annotations being displayed and used in search engine results.

GeoDex®, the search technology company, allows users to tip-off search results that they have found relevant to others on the web. The patent is for an interface in search results that displays how many times users have found each search result to be relevant, in addition to re-sorting those results by geographic area using a bar.
