Germany Leads Euro Zone Lower As US Faces Possibility Of Double Dip Recession - Top Five Small Cap Stocks Review: Swingplane Ventures, AMR Corp, Green Innovation, Mediswipe, Eco-Tek Group
LONDON, February 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Numbers released this morning show that Germany contracted at a worse than expected pace making a first quarter recovery unlikely for the euro zone. Although investor sentiment has been high based on debt agreements over the last few months we are starting to see the underlying problem which could also be staring the US straight in the face. We have already experienced a double dip recession back in 2008/09 and with interest rates and debt ceilings where they currently are we could be looking at a similar scenario
Shares in Swingplane Ventures closed at a new high on Wednesday after trading higher through the week on much heavier than normal volume. The stock traded as high as 0.67 cents during the session before pulling back in the afternoon to finish at a new 52 week high on over $15 million in volume traded.
Green Innovations also finished trading yesterday well into green territory after a positive day for the company. After releasing news earlier in the day the stock traded over $7 million in volume and closed higher by 16% going into trading on Wall Street today.
AMR Corp (AAMRQ) has climbed back up to the $1.30 region which should keep the interest in its shares and the volume high, especially when its north of the $1.00 mark. News on the merger continues to filter through and the stock once again traded over $10 million in volume in trading on Wednesday still making it one of the heaviest traded stocks in that market.
Mediswipe was one of the stocks doing well in price performance in the OTC markets in yesterday's trading with shares moving higher by over 17% in the morning trading session. Shares in Mediswipe did pull back in afternoon trading to close lower by 14% and the stock traded over $5 million in trading volume.
Eco-Tek Group was a new name to the volume watch list based on the trading action in the stock on the OTCQB. Eco-Tek Group closed higher by an impressive 43% in the markets on Wednesday with almost $2 million in volume exchanging hands.
