(Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced that it is continuing its tradition of supporting leading gaming events as a Gold Level sponsor of NorthCon 2012, Germany's largest gaming and computer festival, where the company worked with its partner Innovalan to provide the high speed backbone network. At the NorthCon LANparty, 2,500 gamers met to play and compete on a state of the art high performance Ethernet LAN with full gigabit connections to many of the gaming systems and 10GbE for interconnects and the network backbone.
