In the "We Love Dizzy – Now and Then" video, Dizzy's original creators, twin brothers Philip and Andrew Oliver, reminisce and discuss the return of gaming's iconic egg. Classic and new gameplay footage is featured alongside fans sharing their memories of our tumbling hero and their thoughts on the new remake. In Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, the Yolkfolk are in eggstraordinary peril and it's down to Dizzy, with his red boxing gloves and trademark somersaults, to save the day.  Our hero has been locked in a dungeon by Rockwart the Troll on orders from the Evil Wizard Zaks, and his girlfriend Daisy is being held in a mysterious castle.  Only by tumbling, running and jumping around the magical kingdom of Keldor, collecting, finding and combing items and helping a diverse cast of characters from 'upset' Mr. Lion to the Grim Reaper himself, can Dizzy triumph eggainst all odds.

The iOS^® and Android editions of Dizzy: Prince of the Yolk are being developed by DNA Interactive, with DNA's Chief Gaming Officer  Paul Ranson, the game's original project director, heading development.   Simple touch screen controls, HD graphics, revamped retro score and classic gameplay are sure to delight eggspectant fans.

The original Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk story (reproduced off the back of a dusty old cassette inlay):

Grand Dizzy was feeling very down one day, so Dizzy and Daisy decided to cheer him up by baking him his favourite food, cherry pie.  So off went Daisy to get some cherries from her cupboard but there were none to be seen.

"Pogie's pinched the cherries!" she cried, as she saw Pogie's pawprint in the cupboard, "That darned fluffle.  Come here you!" and Pogie promptly darted off into the enchanted forest to escape Daisy's rage.

Dizzy and Daisy headed into the forest to catch Pogie (and replenish their supply of cherries at the same time). However, while searching for Pogie they got lost and found a castle, where they thought they would find help, but it seemed deserted.  They looked in the castle for Pogie, but Daisy caught herself on a mystic spinning wheel.  She started feeling really sleepy, so she found a bed and went to sleep.  "Wake up Daisy, wake up!" shouted Dizzy.  But before he could wake her up, Rockwart the troll caught him and locked him up underground...
