Getty Images Appointed Official Supplier for the British Fashion Council

LONDON, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, and the British Fashion Council (BFC) today announce an exclusive partnership which sees Getty Images become the BFC's Official Supplier, creating and distributing premium content on behalf of the BFC across its annual suite of events.

Under the official designation, Getty Images' roster of elite and award-winning fashion photographers will cover all the BFC's key annual events, including London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week Men's, London Fashion Week Festival and The Fashion Awards, as well as additional events and launches.  All imagery will be distributed across Getty Images' industry-leading platform, bringing some of the most iconic events in the British fashion calendar to audiences in every corner of the globe.

Getty Images will create a digital asset management system for the BFC, facilitating the easy storage and sharing of their content and additionally create a British Fashion Council collection on its global platform from which all images will be available to view and download. The collection will launch on 15 September.
