The timepieces offer a fresh design at an affordable price coupled with the world-renowned quality of the Swiss watch. Giacomo Cortes watches start with two main collections. The Classic collection offers timepieces named after Italian and Spanish landmarks such as Madrid, Barcelona and Rome. The Sophisticate collection, which will be available in Spring 2017, is assembled piece by piece in the clock manufactory of Bernecker Uhren Werke by hand and with tender loving care.

The watches are named after the financially independent and reclusive Giacomo Cortes who commutes between his family home in Como, his apartment in Barcelona and his hacienda in Sardinia. As the son of an Italian mother and a Spanish father, he unites the taste of the beauty of both countries in himself. His motto is "Beauty thrives on sobriety." After meeting Cortes and seeing his watch designs, Bernecker Uhren Werke fell in love with the concepts and the timepieces were created.

Giacomo Cortes timepieces are designed for strength but very low weight and come with come with stainless steel case ensuring that the watches will fit comfortably on small or large wrists, fitting both men and women easily. All of the watches come with a lifetime warranty.

The campaign offers varying pledge levels that correspond to the number of watches purchased and number of interchangeable straps. The lowest level pledge is Fr 89 ($90 USD) and customers will receive the Classic watch they chose and one additional interchangeable strap.
