GigaStar Beats Crowdfunding Expectations with Record-Breaking Community Raise

CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GigaStar, a startup that brings YouTube Creators and Investors together, announced a record-setting response to its community crowdfunding raise, surpassing original expectations and setting a new record for 2025 on Wefunder.

As part of a $10M Series A, GigaStar combined a Regulation D offering for institutional investors with a Regulation Crowdfunding campaign for its community on Wefunder.

Originally allocating $1.2M for the community, GigaStar's Wefunder campaign, which launched June 18th, hit $1.5M in just 12 hours—setting a 2025 record for the fastest raise on Wefunder.

GigaStar's Wefunder offering closed September 2nd, raising over $4 million from more than 2,700 investors. As a result, the remaining allocation for institutional investors was lowered to $6 million.
