Gilford Securities Announces Hiring of Robert V. Tango, Senior Vice President, Technology Research

NEW YORK, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gilford Securities Incorporated, a full-service investment bank headquartered in New York City, today announced that Robert V. Tango has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Equity Research, responsible for the coverage of companies within the Technology Sector.

Mr. Tango has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry most recently as a Senior Equity analyst with Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC. Prior to joining Craig-Hallum, Mr. Tango was the lead Portfolio Manager of a Global Technology Fund at Mission Global Advisors. Before joining Mission Global, Mr. Tango was the Portfolio Manager of Gartmore Global's Global Technology Fund. He previously held the position of Senior Equity analyst with various investment banks including Lazard and William Blair & Co.

Mr. Tango began his career with Price Waterhouse as a member of its Audit division. Mr. Tango earned his B.S. in Finance and Accounting at Boston College.
