Gilman Ciocia Acquires Hollywood Florida Accounting Firm

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Jan. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gilman Ciocia announced today that it has acquired Hoffman, Levy, Bengio & Co., PL. formerly located in Hollywood, Florida. As part of the transaction Hoffman, Levy, Bengio & Co., PL. has relocated its operations into Gilman Ciocia's Aventura, Florida office.  Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. For the year ended 12/31/10 Hoffman, Levy, Bengio & Co., PL. had revenues of approximately $1.5 million dollars and served over 2,500 individual and corporate clients.

As part of the transaction, KGC Associates CPAs PC acquired the attest business of Hoffman, Levy, Bengio & Co., PL. KGC Associates is a CPA firm licensed in New York and Florida that is associated with Gilman Ciocia under an alternative practice structure.
