Glassdoor's Rusty Rueff to Attend White House Business Leaders' Forum on Jobs and Economic Competitiveness

SAUSALITO, Calif., Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Glassdoor Board Director and Career & Workplace Expert, Rusty Rueff, along with one hundred other business leaders are flying into Washington tomorrow to participate in the Business Forward and White House Business Council Forum on Jobs and Economic Competitiveness, where they will brief senior White House officials on a variety of issues including employment, the economy and job creation.

The White House Business Council and Business Forward are convening this day-long forum at the White House in an effort to solicit input and perspective from American business and civic leaders. Representatives from companies like KPMG, Duke Energy, Marriott and CIT will be in attendance. Senior Administration officials, including Dr. Rebecca Blank, who serves as under secretary for economic affairs at the Department of Commerce, and Valerie Jarrett, who serves as a senior advisor and assistant to the president for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, will provide an overview of current efforts to spur economic growth and Administration priorities, broadly. The agenda will cover a range of topics, among them: innovation and open government; access to capital for small business; health care; energy; education; immigration and children's health and wellness.
