Glendale Introduces Master Developer for the Glendale Riverwalk Project

GLENDALE, Colo., Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Glendale announced INTEGRAL Real Estate Development, LLC as the Master Developer of the Glendale Riverwalk Project on Thursday, October 20th, at a reception held at Infinity Park in Glendale.

Brian J. Levitt, MRECM, LEED AP, President and CEO of INTEGRAL Real Estate Development, founded the company in 2007 after working with Forest City Enterprises on the redevelopment of Stapleton and the creation of Northfield Stapleton, the first LEED-certified outdoor mall/main street in the United States.  INTEGRAL's team for the Glendale Riverwalk Project includes HOK (planning and architecture firm with international experience in urban design and landscape architecture), POPULOUS (global architecture firm specializing in public assembly facilities, major event organization, and event programming), TRYBA ARCHITECTS (design architect and architect of record for the project), VISION LAND CONSULTANTS (civil engineering, including traffic, infrastructure, utilities, and parking), and BECK (general contractor services for vertical spaces).  In addition to this team, TURNER CONSTRUCTION, general contractor for Glendale's Infinity Park development, will provide general contractor services for the public infrastructure piece of the project.

The Glendale Riverwalk will include retail, restaurants, taverns, and entertainment venues surrounding a navigable waterway.  The project is a regional amenity that will be an asset to the entire Denver metropolitan area, producing jobs and generating revenue for the local economy while attracting local, regional, national, and international tourists to Colorado.  

A true urban "riverfront" entertainment district like the Glendale Riverwalk does not exist in Colorado and will serve as a strong compliment to Infinity Park, which has already made Glendale an international sports destination.
