Glenn Hinderstein Joins Clay Lacy Aviation
VAN NUYS, Calif., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- President of Clay Lacy Aviation, Brian Kirkdoffer announced today that Glenn Hinderstein has joined Clay Lacy Aviation as Executive Vice-President of Business Development.
Glenn most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales for NetJets – the company widely credited with creating the concept of fractional jet ownership. In 1996 NetJets founder Richard Santulli appointed Glenn to head up NetJets' sales on the West Coast. In his 14 years of serving NetJets clients, Glenn earned a reputation for understanding his clients' needs, giving sound advice and creating long lasting professional and personal relationships.
"Glenn's dedication to exceeding client expectation anytime and anywhere makes him a perfect complement to Clay Lacy Aviation's customer centric culture. Today's sophisticated consumer of private jets requires a higher level of knowledge and understanding of their options," stated Kirkdoffer. "The addition of Glenn will further enhance and expand the personalized aviation services we offer."
Aviation legend Clay Lacy pioneered jet charter when he brought the first Learjet to the West Coast over 45 years ago and has since remained dedicated to continually raising the level of safety, service, and value. Today, Clay Lacy Aviation manages and operates one of the largest fleets of jet charter aircraft in the world, with over 20 different types of aircraft – including Gulfstreams, Challengers, Falcons, Hawkers, Embraers, Citations, Learjets and Boeings.
Glenn said, "It's rare that you see a company with such a rich history of innovation both sustain its position as an industry leader and be so well poised to expand and take advantage of the new realties which have been challenging the industry. I've spent my career advising people on how to evaluate and choose their best jet travel option, and Clay Lacy Aviation offers a world-class service that speaks for itself. I am very excited to be part of the Clay Lacy Team."
Steve Tisch, chairman, executive vice president and co-owner of the New York Giants remarked, "Glenn Hinderstein is one of the industry's best people – he's passionate about taking great care of the aviation needs of his clients and friends. This is a very interesting time in the private jet business and Clay Lacy Aviation and its clients will certainly benefit from Glenn being on their team."
