Glidden® Paint Celebrates Projects From Across America June 30 in Times Square
CLEVELAND, June 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Giving a room a colorful makeover is deserving of a celebration. Some people celebrate by taking pictures of their freshly painted projects. Others throw parties to show off their colorful spaces. And now, some lucky painters have the chance to celebrate their painting achievements in one of America's highest-profile destinations—a Times Square Jumbotron in New York City.
To kick off the summer painting season, Glidden® paint is celebrating the painting accomplishments of consumers across the country with its Times Square Jumbotron Celebration. From Chico, Calif. to Dorchester, Mass., 50 lucky winners will have their photos appear larger than life June 30 from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m. on America's most famous Jumbotron. In celebrating their accomplishments with Glidden paint, the selected participants will have their photos transformed into colorful paint can art.
The celebration also includes a live, 12-hour simulcast featuring the 50 winners who will make their NYC appearances. Others can join the celebration June 30 by viewing the simulcast live at glidden.com/timessquare.
With its Times Square Jumbotron Celebration, Glidden paint invited customers to submit photos to glidden.com to be part of the momentous occasion. Customers could also submit actual photos of projects they painted to the website gallery. Glidden paint's gallery serves as a destination for painting ideas and color inspiration, showcasing real rooms and projects completed by others.
