Global Advances in Health and Medicine Appoints New Co-editors-in-chief and President/Publisher
BOSTON, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Global Advances in Health and Medicine today announced the appointment of Mary Jo Kreitzer, PhD, RN, FAAN, and Robert Saper, MD, MPH, as the journal's new co-editors-in-chief, forming the first interdisciplinary leadership team for the journal. Additionally, Avery Stirratt has joined Global Advances in Health and Medicine as president and publisher.
Dr. Kreitzer is the founder and director of the Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota and has more than 40 years of leadership and expertise in healthcare. In addition to her roles as nurse, teacher, healthcare administrator, and researcher, she is an internationally recognized pioneer and innovator in the field of integrative health and well-being.
Dr. Saper is the director of The Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Care Disparities at Boston Medical Center and associate professor of Family Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. He has more than 25 years of experience integrating evidence-based complementary therapies such as yoga, massage, and relaxation techniques with conventional medicine.
