GLOBAL Integrated Security Appoints Michael Roberts as President

The Board of GLOBAL Integrated Security (USA) Inc. the security services division of Global Strategies Group, has appointed Michael ('Mike') Roberts as President.

GLOBAL Integrated Security (GIS) provides full spectrum security services, training and capacity building and operational support to the defense and intelligence community and other government agencies of the United States.

Mike Roberts, a senior defense industry professional with over 20 years' experience, joins GIS to build on the company's exemplary track record in supporting the US national security mission. His focus is to continue to grow GIS mission support in Counter-terrorism, Counter-narcotics and Critical Infrastructure Protection, both within the US and in support of US interests overseas.

Mike joins GIS from USIS Inc., where he was President of its Security and Solutions Division. Here, he was responsible for over 3000 staff providing information and security service support to the US defense and intelligence communities. Prior to USIS, Mike was the CEO of ESP Inc., providing management, engineering and technical services to US Government Agencies and the defense industry. Before that, he was with Northrop Grumman for 13 years, and held senior operational and management roles within its Information Technology and Technical Services businesses, dealing with clients from the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, the NSA and NASA.

Mike has a Finance Degree from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from George Washington University.  He is married with two children.
